FIS Students in the Elementary are offered
subjects that create the foundation of
rigorous learning at higher grades.

Grades 1 – 3 In this level, boys and girls are both on the girls’ campus. They learn core subjects:  English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies in English language medium. Students at FIS also take Arabic and Islamic classes as a major part of their daily studies, following Ministry of Education Arabic and Islamic standards and curricula. Arabic for non-Arabic speakers classes are available for students in grades 2 and above.  

 

Grades 4-6 learn core subjects:  English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies in English language medium. Students at FIS also receive Arabic and Islamic instruction as a main part of their daily studies, following MOE Arabic and Islamic standards and books. French classes are available as elective classes.  All students in the Elementary Section (Grades 1-6) attend regularly scheduled PE, Computer and Art classes.
